Flexi Plan

QNB Flexiplan is a new feature on QNB Credit Cards which allows customers to convert their purchases at participating merchants into an instalment plan at 0% interest.

Flexiplan is available on ALL credit cards issued by QNB with any card types, excluding QNB Corporate Card.

The minimum purchase amount for Flexiplan is QAR 1000 per transaction. However, please check with our participating merchant for any special promotion.

QNB Flexiplan is available to any POS transaction at participating merchant. Transaction amount eligible for installment conversion may vary from merchant to another. Latest participating merchants listing can be viewed on QNB website.

The repayment terms will vary depending on the promotion being run by the merchant. Once the purchase is made and converted to QNB Flexiplan, customer can repay the amount spend in equal monthly installments over the advertised period. The current payment term is set at 6 months.

All purchases using Flexiplan will be converted at zero percent interest automatically. Simply inform the cashier at the preferred QNB merchants to avail the Flexiplan.

Currently the Flexplan has a fixed 6 monthly instalment at zero percent interest. Each merchants may run different interest free terms at various times of the year and customers should ask in-store about the interest free term that is currently available.

There is NO limitation on the number of transactions for Flexiplan, as long as there is available credit limit on their Credit Card.

The FlexiPlan transaction is converted into instalments which will normally be the day after the transaction is posted to credit card account. The first instalment will be due on the first due date after the purchase is made.

Details of the Flexiplan will be shown on the customer’s credit card statement. The minimum payment will include the monthly instalment amount.

The total amount converted to Flexiplan will be reduced from the customers available credit limit. However, as they repay their monthly instalments, the amount of the instalments paid will be added to their available credit limit.

Yes, customers can still enjoy the applicable reward points on transactions converted to Flexiplan based on their card type.

Yes, the customer can have multiple purchases converted to Flexiplan.

Yes, supplementary cardholders can also opt for eligible transactions to be converted to Flexiplan.

No, the customer cannot cancel your Flexiplan once the conversion of the eligible purchase has taken place.

The customer cannot payout the Flexiplan before the expiry of the term. They will need to continue paying the monthly instalment as scheduled. As there is 0% interest, even if they pay the monthly payment for the full term, they will not pay anything more than the originally converted amount.

If a customer wants to close their credit card, they will have to pay off the entire outstanding balance on their card including any balance converted to Flexiplan.

Each month the installment will be added to the minimum payment due. If a customer does not pay the full minimum payment due (including the instalment amount), their account will become overdue and they will incur the applicable interest and/or overdue charges.

Once the instalment amount is added to the minimum payment due, the entire minimum payment has the same priority. If the customer pays less than the minimum payment due, their account will be overdue and will incur fees and interest charges.

If the account is more than 60 days overdue the Flexiplan will be automatically cancelled and the entire Flexiplan balance will be payable.

There is no impact on the DBR. Flexiplan transaction(s) is included among the current credit limit of the customer.
